The brief
Tony Sun, a member of 5566 with a background in acting, sings about waiting for love through setbacks. HoneyCity handled planning, direction, production, editing and grading for the music video.
Film concept
Sun’s performance carries the story. Warm exteriors evoke the passing seasons, while cool interiors suggest memory. The contrast gives the song’s emotions room to develop without overplaying them.
On set
We filmed around Tamsui Old Street and its riverside, using older buildings, overlapping images and shifts in focus to suggest time passing. The crew tested the action and adjusted it to the restrictions of the locations.
