The brief
Huawei wanted to show how the Mate20 X fits into creative work and business. HoneyCity planned, directed and shot the film, then edited and graded it.
Film concept
Model Eric Yang opens the film on the runway. We follow him offstage, cycling through the city and joking with colleagues in a meeting. Those changes of pace reveal a side of him that a fashion portrait alone would miss.
On set
We built the product scenes around taking notes and organizing ideas on the large screen with the M-Pen. Battery life and graphene cooling were part of the story about using the phone throughout the working day.
