The brief
This Huawei film uses parkour to explore the possibilities of an ultra-wide camera. HoneyCity developed the concept, directed and produced the shoot, and handled editing and color.
Film concept
The camera travels with the athlete, crossing heights and reaching viewpoints that a pedestrian could never see. Each action was designed around what the wide field of view could reveal.
On set
The professional parkour team Fun Action joined repeated scouts and rehearsals. The crew tested the routes, movements and camera positions together before committing to each shot.
